My friends are my estate

This is a piece of calligraphy I did with a 2* B2 pencils held together with two elastic bands. I filled the blank section afterwards with another B2 pencil. And so you're left with this somewhat rough piece. Taking that into account I hope you like it.

Lake Lugano Switerland 2013

Photograph taken from Lake Lugano August 2013.
I was taken by the conglomeration of coloured buildings
which were full of character

BEGIN IT

This is a piece of calligraphy
that I completed in March 2013.
I rather liked the sentiment.

Those Who Bring Sunshine
To The Lives Of Others
Cannot Keep It From Themselves

This is a piece of calligraphy I did a number of times for friends and family on the occasion of their Birthdays and other celebrations. Each time I varied the layout and font.

Introductory Posting

This Blog has been created to share and publish my collection of photographs and other digital images either taken recently or from times past. It is also my intention to share and publish photographs of historic interest, of special to my family and friends.
I hope you enjoy the above every bit as much as I know I am going to enjoy putting them together. I realise that it will involve quite a bit of work especially scanning the old images. Bear with me and I apologise in advance for the poor quality of some of the images. Considering these images are of a bygone age i.e. pre digital, it is miraculous that so many have survived at all.
